Based on the puffins on our coasts, this Raku ceramic puffin is beautiful and joyful.
The size of the standing puffin is 7cm high and the small nesting puffin is 6cm long, both size might vary due to the nature of the process.
Raku is a very difficult technique the piece is taken out of the kiln whilst very hot and dropped into a bed of wood shavings and sawdust, the crazed finish is determined by experience and timing, but every piece is different.
