Dandelions At Bryn Mill 2025 for sale on behalf of Jamie King

£160.00

Seen from ankle height beside Singleton Park’s Brynmill gate, this work feels less botanical study than storyboard still: a pause before someone kicks the gate, or before the next gust sends the seeds over the metal bars and out toward Swansea Bay. Smart, spare and with a hint of comic book drama, it hands the viewer just enough narrative slack to write the breeze that follows.

Stone-dust beige meets soft teal greens as wild dandelion stems rise in tight verticals, their white seed-heads hovering like studio lights over cracked paving. The chipped iron fence bisecting the upper field of view, municipal order pressed against unscripted growth, frames stray seeds floating toward the undergrowth, and out of frame.

Giclee print on archival paper.
