A giclee print from a soft pastel done en plein air, just as the sun was setting and the water began to glow in response to the warmth of the light.
Welsh artist Arwen Banning was standing on the mud banks to capture the moment before the light failed, she was entranced by the bright turquoise of the water, which she says she has not exaggerated. An open-edition giclee print on Somerset enhanced velvet paper with light-fast archival inks. Signed by the artist.
