This artwork was painted in the studio by Arwen Banning from studies made from the foot of the walls of Pennard castle. The land has turned blue where it is in shadow from the surrounding cliffs. The artist has made a series of artworks of this view exploring the reflected light and the rhythm of the curves which are repeated across the canvas.
