This seal's face is so appealing you can't help but fall in love. The raku process is expertly done to create a wonderful warm patina across the surface of the sculpture.

Raku is a very difficult technique the piece is taken out of the kiln whilst very hot and dropped into a bed of wood shavings and sawdust, the crazed finish is determined by experience and timing, but every piece is different.
