You can almost hear this seal bark as it raises itself up on its flippers. Based on the seals which are flourishing in our native waters, this Raku ceramic seal is beautiful and joyful.

Raku is a very difficult technique the piece is taken out of the kiln whilst very hot and dropped into a bed of wood shavings and sawdust, the crazed finish is determined by experience and timing, but every piece is different.
