Katie Allen

Katie Allen’s paintings are inspired by the changing seasons and shades of the natural world. A rich textile of patterns, forms, and colours, when viewed as a whole, each painting portrays recognisable and familiar landscapes. Yet on closer inspection, Katie’s work reveals detailed abstract patterns comprising intricate designs and subtle plays of colour. Having trained in Fine Art at The Bath Academy of Art, Katie is now based in Swansea.
