My name is Anthony Dyke - an amateur photographer living in Swansea, South Wales, UK. The Gower Peninsula (bordering Swansea) was the first region in the UK to be designated An Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and I’ve been lucky enough to photograph it endlessly. I was awarded an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society with a panel of black and white prints on Gower but now shoot solely in colour. I recently took early retirement from a mind-numbing office job which has finally given me time to concentrate on my photography and hold exhibitions.
MY TWO FAVOURITE PHOTOGRAPHY QUOTATIONS:
“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
“A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense and is thereby a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. ”
